The radio source 3C236<\/strong>, known as the \u201cbow tie,\u201d stretches roughly 20 million light-years<\/strong> and is the largest structure ever detected in the universe<\/strong>. About 2 billion years ago<\/strong>, if observed with the naked eye, this structure would have appeared only slightly larger than the Moon.<\/span><\/p>\n
